PhotoRescue for business
Photo enhancement and image upscaling API
Fix every photo your customers send, without a manual step. Send an image to the API, get back a cleaner or larger one. The same Enhance, Upscale 4× and Upscale 8× models as the site, billed in credits, with your files deleted after 24 hours.
What comes back
Real results from the same models the API runs, shown as close-ups at about 100 %. Drag the divider; the left side is what went in.

Upscale 4× · 600×400 → 2400×1600 · close-up

Upscale 8× · 320×213 → 2560×1704 · close-up

Enhance · simulated phone photo · 1600×1279 · close-up
Who uses it
Teams that receive photos they do not control, and need them usable without retouching each one by hand.
- E-commerce catalogs
- Suppliers send small or compressed product photos. Upscale 4× brings them up to the size your store needs, and Enhance cleans up the ones shot on a phone.
- Real estate and vehicle listings
- Agents and sellers upload dim, grainy phone photos. Run them through Enhance before they are published, with no change to what is in the picture.
- Print and photo-gift services
- Customers upload whatever they have. Upscale 4× and 8× give small files the pixels a print needs, so fewer orders are held back for low resolution.
- Marketplaces and apps with user uploads
- Add a repair step to the upload pipeline and listings look better from the first publish. Jobs are asynchronous, so a slow image never blocks your request.
- Agencies and studios
- Run a client archive through one API instead of opening each file. Webhooks tell your pipeline when each result is ready.
How it works
A REST API with JSON in and out. Create a job, then poll it or receive a webhook. Results come as a signed link.
- 1
Create a key
Pick a plan, then create a named key in the dashboard. It is shown once and can be revoked at any time.
- 2
Send a job
Post the image as an uploaded file or a public HTTPS link, and choose a model. Credits are charged when the job is accepted and refunded if it fails.
- 3
Get the result
Poll the job or receive a signed webhook. Download the result within 24 hours; it is deleted after that.
curl -X POST https://www.photo-rescue.com/api/v1/jobs \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $PHOTORESCUE_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"task":"upscale","input":{"url":"https://example.com/photos/shoe.jpg"}}'Plans

Security and privacy
What we do with your customers' photos, in plain terms. The binding version is in the Business & API Terms and the Data Processing Agreement.
- Deleted within 24 hours
- Uploaded images and results are removed automatically after 24 hours. Job records keep no image data.
- No training on your data
- We do not use your content to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI models, and we do not sell it.
- A Data Processing Agreement
- Business plans are sold under the Business & API Terms plus a DPA that covers the GDPR processor terms, deletion and breach notice.
- Named sub-processors
- The providers that process data for us are listed on a public page, with a notice period before any change.
- Keys you control
- API keys are stored hashed, shown once, and can be revoked. Each key has a name and a last-used time.
- Signed links and webhooks
- Result links are signed and expire after one hour. Webhooks carry an HMAC signature you can verify.
Questions from teams
What is a credit?
One credit pays for one processed image. Enhance and Upscale 4× cost 1 credit; Upscale 8× costs 2. The docs list every model with its cost and input limit.
Is the API different from the website?
No. It runs the same models and the same credit rules as the site. The API adds keys, asynchronous jobs, webhooks and higher limits for automation.
What happens when credits run out?
New jobs are refused with an HTTP 402 error that says how many credits you need and how many remain. Nothing is charged beyond your plan. Upgrade, or wait for the next period.
How long are files kept?
Inputs and results are deleted 24 hours after upload. Download results before then. Signed result links expire after one hour and can be refreshed while the file still exists.
Do you train on our images?
No. The Business & API Terms and the DPA both say customer content is not used to train, fine-tune or evaluate models.
Can the models change what is in a photo?
They are built to repair, not redraw: a clean photo comes back essentially unchanged. A very small input enlarged 8× still lacks detail that was never recorded, so check results on your own material before you automate.
Can I resell the service?
Not as a standalone image-processing service unless your order form allows it. Using it inside your own product to improve your customers' photos is the normal case. The terms have the details.
How do I pay and get invoices?
Plans are billed through Stripe, monthly or annually. Checkout collects your company details and tax ID, and invoices are in the billing portal.
Do you offer a larger plan or a custom contract?
Yes, by contact. Use the form below and describe your volume and what you need.
