Acceptable Use Policy

Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual or sexualised content involving minors. We report such material to the competent authorities and organisations.

Intimate or sexual images of a person without their consent, including sexual "deepfakes" and images made to look like someone.

Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy or publicity rights, or that you otherwise have no right to use.

Content that is illegal where you are or where we are, or that promotes terrorism, violent extremism or serious harm.

Malware, or files crafted to attack or exploit the service.

Deceiving people with results, for example presenting an AI-processed image as unaltered evidence, or using it to commit fraud, impersonate someone or mislead buyers about a product or property.

Harassing, bullying, threatening or exploiting anyone.

Identifying people, surveillance, or building facial-recognition or biometric databases.

Forensic, evidentiary, medical, legal or safety-critical uses where a wrong detail could harm someone.

Processing personal data without a lawful basis, or processing special categories of personal data unless it is strictly necessary and lawful.

Do not attack, overload, probe or test the security of the service, or access accounts, files or data that are not yours.

Do not scrape the website or use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the service, except through the API with your own API key and within its limits.

Do not get around free limits, plan limits or rate limits, for example with multiple accounts, rotating devices or networks, or shared accounts. Do not remove watermarks from free results.

Do not resell, rent or offer the free tier, your plan or your API access to others as a service of your own, unless an agreement with us allows it.

Do not reverse engineer the service or try to extract its models, or use the service or its results to build a competing image-processing model or service.

To report content or behaviour that breaks this policy, email support@photo-rescue.com with the subject "Abuse report" and include what you saw, where (for example a result link) and when. For copyright complaints, follow section 12 of the terms of service.

Uploads and results are private and deleted within 24 hours, so please report promptly.

If we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, we may remove content, block uploads, revoke API keys, and suspend or close accounts, without notice where needed to prevent harm, and report illegal content to the authorities. We may refuse service to anyone who has broken it before.

Where the breach is serious, we do not refund the remaining period of a plan, to the extent the law allows. We do not monitor content in general, and we are not responsible for content that users upload.

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. This policy is written in English, and the English text governs.
